Hard drive after format

I run Windows XP Pro on a Via P4PB Ultra, Intel 2.4, 512 DDR RAM, and two
hard drives. The master is a Maxtor 80 gig and the slave is a Maxtor 200
gig. My computer is working great, but a strange issue is showing up after
I just reformatted and reinstalled all my software. Under windows explorer,
I can see my C drive and all the files. The font color is black. My D
drive font color is blue. I partitioned the D drive as a primary basic and
it is empty currently. Chkdsk shows no problems on either drive.
I do not care if the font color is different, but I have formatted before
and never saw this occur in the past. Any ideas? Thanks for your comments.
