Hard drive crash - recovering My Documents...

My drive just crashed, and I need to get a few very important files out of the My Documents folder, but I can't access it just by plugging the drive into another PC as a slave, since I don't have the 'permission' to access the My Documents folder - any way around this?

I've pretty much recovered all the data I could from the rest of the drive, so only those remain.
