Hard Drive LED

Sorry about my previoce post,Wrong date and year, don't know when that
happened.
that post looked 2 years old.
Here it is again, hope its right this time.

Hi Yall
Got a question here hope someone can answer here.
The led lite for my hard drive doesen't flash or show that the drive is
working or thinking.
It works when the PC is booting up , going through the bios.
It will lite up when the PC comes out of standby, But not when i am doing
anything on the computer.
Can anyone shed a little lite on the subject for me.
System is=Soyo P4VDA mother board
P4 2.4 mhz CPU , 1 gig of pc2100 ram , DVD , CD Burner , Modem , 64 mgb
Vidio card , Hard drive #1 60gig seagate with Windows XP Pro on , hard drive
# 2 is 60 gig western digital formated and no operating system , just
storage (no dual boot)
