Default hard wired ethernet -New to wireless

I have a hardwired ethernet jack in the home office from a previous
dsl connection. I worked from home for years and had ethernet through
the company that I worked for. No longer with the company or dsl and
just now returning to dsl and I don't know how to use the wall
ethernet connection. I just signed up for dsl with verizon and wanted
to know how to incorporate that into the existing ethernet
connection. Can anyone help?????

where did the previous DSL connection terminate? do you know where
the old DSL modem was previously installed? you need to find out
that information for starters.

If you just signed up you will be sent a DSL modem and installation kit with
instructions shortly. There is nothing to be done until that is received.
This has nothing to do with Vista. I suggest if you need further
information you use a more appropriate forum like http://www.dslreports.com/
