hardware tester

Posted: 08-18-2003, 05:08 AM
Ive been having a problem with my laptop that keeps
rebooting every time i do video editing or run programs
that require alot of cpu and ram.Every time the crash
analysis says its a device driver error which i know its
not because the computers only two weeks old and i have
not added anything to it.I have updated the drivers and
so on but it still does it.
I was wondering i there is a program that can check the
hardware (ram, cpu, etc) so i know i can get it fixed, take
it back or get it changed.
p.s its only got a dvd-rw drive on it so i dont have a
floppy.
Thanks in advance.
