Have you tried this and if so, what do you recommend?

Hi everyone. I have a dsl writer and would love to
transfer my old vhs home movies to dvd. I have checked
online for recommendations and reviews but really haven't
had any luck. If there is anyone out there that has tried
it and knows of a good product would you please let me
know. Or, if you have heard of a good one, or know of some
good review sites for this type of product, please let me
know this also. I would just feel better knowing one is
recommended. There are so many different types to choose
from that the more I look into it, the more confused as to
which one to purchase I become. My girls used to clog and
we have many old clogging vcr tapes so this is special to
