You don't say what actions you have taken. Is this when you double click on
a CD track ? Or when you do File > etc within WMP ? You need to point the
way for WMP.

Try upgrading to or re-installing WMP9 that may fix the problem.

Cheers,
Jerry

I get the error when double-clicking on a track or
choosing play through WMP. I have removed and re-installed
WMP9 with no change to outcome. I have also tried Real
Player, but it just tells me to insert an audio CD.

I have the same problem. I have tried to open a track from WMP9 or double
click on track, or open with, it won't play in WMP9 but it will with other
programs. I have searched high and wide for a fix. I un-installed,
re-installed and nothing worked. The error code I get is 0xC00D1197: Cannot
play the file

Any brains out there that know how to fix this?
