HELP! losing lines and text

Our company uses Microstation as a drafting tool. Two of
us have gotten new computers and xp came with it. When we
try to open files on the network, we lose certain lines,
text or references and it isn't always the same lines,
etc. The strange thing is that it seems to work perfectly
when we copy the files onto our hard drive. Also getting
a message (when in the network) that says "unable to open
design file. Please contact your local site administrator
or technical support for assistance." I've called Bentley
and they don't know what it is as they also have xp and
this version of microstation works fine for them. Thanks
