Help me please

I wanted to know if Adobe-flash player is a good trust worthy program to down
load to my computer or not because i got a trouble shooter pop-up say a
problem was caused because i didn't have a Up dated Adobe-flash player.and i
really need help in knowing if it's i'll mess up my computer and could
someone please explain to me what Active X control really dose for your
computer please because i have now clue on things like these to be installed.

First Adobe Flashplayer is Ok, and should not create any problems.
Will get back with second part of you question ASAP

Read thru the link below and other links to give you an understanding of
what Activex is about, I allow active x's but keep an eye on what I accept,
plus over time I have deleted some that I don't want, or I consider
unsuitable or neccesary:
