Microsoft has said that because of the way cheaper memory sticks are made, they may not work with Windows Vista; however, alot of people with higher-end memory sticks also get this error. The only advice I've seen is to keep pressing the retest button until you see the light come on on the memory stick, and see if you can eventually get Windows to take it. - JB | Guest
