(Help: USB disk transmission, WINXP show error message"..... path is too long")

Dear Sirs:

I have developed a usb disk, when I copy data from PC to my usb
disk, WinXP show "... Path is too long". bug I'm sure the copyed files' path
is less than _MAX_PATH.
Please tell me, when WinXP show "path is too long " during usb
transmission, what it's means?
