Default Help w/removing network logon

I have a machine running xp pro that was part of a
network, which is now being used at home. I have
disconnected all the network drives. It is a member of a
workgroup, no domain. I still have to use a password to
log on, then get a network error message, and am able to
work. How do I get by this?
