Help with downgrading to XP

Posted: 09-27-2007, 01:23 PM
I think I'm gonna downgrade to XP to try and solve my sound problem. Plus
it'll help me sort out a few other compatability issues I've been having but
now I need to know if I snould buy the home edition upgrade or the full
version. Its like a hundred dollar difference.

The only way to get Vista off is to format the HD...unless you are aimong to
dual boot but thats another story.
If you have a copy of a previous MS operating system...win 98/ME...then you
can use the upgrade version of XP if not you will need the full version of
XP.
Around here,in the great white north, the price difference is like
$50.00............

Also, if your MB is brand new, make sure there are XP Drivers written for it.
