help with Excel please

Hi I hope I am posting in the right place,,,I am having a problem tryng to
calculate nimbers on Excel...what I want to do is say in column A i have over
200 different figures going down the page ..what i want to do is add 20% to
each figure without having to manually do it..is there a formula that will
allow me ot do this...It is doing my brain and I cant get my head round it..I
would appreciate any help.

Ask the Excel experts in an Excel newsgroup. Don't forget to tell them
what version of Excel you have.

Yes

Insert a column to to right unless blank already
Go to the cell to the right of to top one (If a1 goto b1)
If data in A1(eg 100) goto B1 and type in '=a1*1.2' enter the value should
show 120.

just 'control-c' this box and hold mouse or shift button to hightlite where
else you want it and then'control-v' it. you can use cut paste buttons the
same way but this will get you going for now).

the excel help is pretty good F1
