Hopeless female needs some vista help

Hello,
I recently purchased a brand new comp...only issue i have with it i
that everytime i try and open my work email server i get the followin
error message and the window closes. I am not overly computer savy so a
answer that would suit an ignoramus such as myself would be appreciated
I am using Vista home for the first time.
