Default Host Process stopped working when trying to connect to wireless?

hi.

whenever i try to connect to a wireless router (like my bthomehub at home)
after about 10 seconds I get an error saying "Host Process For Windows
Services Has Stopped Working and Needs to Close".

then on my wireless box, it says "connecting is taking longer than usual"
and never connects.

whats the issue here? how do i connect to a wireless router without trouble

Have you checked if there is a new firmware for the router and a new driver
of the NIC? If you do have latest driver, you may try to start the Vista
with clean boot for a test.

Hi thanks for the response.

It isn't the router because any router i try to connect to, I get the same
problem. What do you mean when you say "new driver of the NIC"? Maybe that
will fix it.

Thanks,

James
