Hi

Does you computer normally connect with wireless or wired? If it is normally
wired you could just disable the wireless. Let me know if it's wireless or
not and I'll get back with instructions.

Hi James,

You seem to know a thing or two about computers, so I am hoping you can help
me. I allowed a friend to use one of my laptops and she set a password to
sign on. She says she doesn't remember it, which I am not so sure of and I
am not able to use it. What can I do to retrieve the password? Is it
possible?

Hi Jojo

Do you mean your friend set up another user on one of you laptops? If so,
login as your own username and you have access to delete/reset password
through 'Users' in the Control Panel.

If you're saying that she set a password on the only user account on the
laptop, try here for more info -

In future it might be a good idea to start your own post, that way more
people will help with your problem
