| I have just recently bought a new pc with Windows Vista Hom Premium. Today i purchased an external hard drive enclosure for my ol hard drive from my old XP pc. I open the XP hard drive on my Vista, i able to see all the file names that are on it...but it will not let m access any of the files - it says I do not have the privileges to acces these files, even though I am an administrator. i have already done th process of Right click, properties, and then attempt to add my usernam to the list and/or give full access but it still won't let me in. wha can i do -- Jupiter Risin Posted via http://www.vistaheads.co | Guest

| You need to take ownership of the files. http://neosmart.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1257 http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67...ship-file.html -- Paul "Jupiter Rising" wrote: Quote:
