How can I remove items fron IE 6.0 Tools drop down menu?

The drop down menu contains: Mail and News, Synchronize, Windows Update,
_____________, Messenger, ____________, Internet options. I want to delete
the messenger option. Where in the registry would I be able to do this?

Using ToolbarCop to remove the unwanted Toolband, Toolbar Icons and BHO:
