How do I activate windows XP profesional ?

To whom can help me,

I do not have an option of "activate windows" in the accessories-system tools. My question therefore is: "How do I activate windows XP profesional via the internet ?"

It may already be activated. Did it come preinstalled on your computer?

Try this to verify it:
Start > Run, then type "oobe/msoobe /a" (without quotation marks) and press
Enter.
If XP is already activated, it will tell you so.

Greetings --

The OS will let you know, with frequent reminders, if you do need
to activate. To check for yourself, Start > All Programs >
Accessories > System Tools > Activate Windows. Alternatively, Start >
Run > "C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /A."
