How do I clear the MRU on the sign in screen

on the sign in screen? The other is how do I clear the
user who last signed in? I've tried clearing all temp
internet files and cookies, uninstall and reinstall,
searching for files, and searching the registry. I'm
using Windows Messenger 4.7.
