try office xp "save my setting wizard" in ms office tool to save the setting
from the original xp account and import into the .msc account.

I guess it is not quit the same as you ask but if you always logs on with
..msc account, it won't matter. In other word forget about the local
accounts. This can then leave open the option of roaming ID.

Some people say the only time you use local account would be using the local
admin ID to apply windows updates......
