Default How to hide the start menu lock button?

Who knows? And the "save session" button as well. I know in XP and Window
2000 we can edit the registry key in POLICIES\Explorer, but it seems not
working for Vista. Thanks!

I am also looking for a way to remove lock from the right arrow button
on the Vista start menu as well as remove the lock button from the Vista
start menu. If at all possible, I would like to be able to disable the
lock options from the registry.

Thank you

To disable the Start Menu Lock Button in Vista via regedit:

Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\System

Create DWORD named DisableLockstation and then Modify and set the value
to 1.

The actual name is DisableLockWorkstation. I am sorry that I left Work
out of my second post.
