| Hi, Cmd.exe looks for the following registry subkeys first: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\AutoRun\REG_SZ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\AutoRun REG_EXPAND_SZ If either one or both registry subkeys are present, they are executed before all other variables. So, you need to add the command (startup) to that registry path. (say, "cd\windows". It opens with Windows as default path) -- Ramesh SRamesh2k@hotmail.com "kiddJ" <asdfdssafaefaef@msn.com> wrote in message news:3afa01c374e9$8c5f3e80$a601280a@phx.gbl...
