How to burn recovery discs from downloaded file of SP1

Posted: 01-21-2009, 07:46 AM
Hi, please help me for my below question.

I have HP DV9000 series which came with Vista Home Premium. Now system has
automatically upgraded to Vista SP1 through Windows update.

I want to download Vista SP1 from Microsoft website
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935791) and write them as recovery discs.
Can I burn the exe file (Windows6.0-KB936330-X86-wave0.exe) as recovery
discs? Please write me the steps how to burn into recovery discs.

Can I use these discs to restore the Operation System with SP1 in future?
Does this discs will have all softwares/drivers for webcam, audio, HP games,
bluetooth, quickplay, lightscribe etc., which were there when the laptop was
shipped?

FYI- I have created recovery discs with Vista (built OS with the laptop)

(I am not a technical person)

Let me know for any questions - Thanks in advance
