How to find a working driver for Netgear WPN111

Posted: 06-19-2006, 05:49 PM
I installed Windows Vista on my computer which went fairly smoothly. But then
I tried to get my WLAN too work, and then failed misserably.

I am using a Netgear WPN111 USB adapter, and I seem to be able to get the
adepter "up and running", and initially th efirst time it did pick up the
three WLAN networks I know "is around" - including my own.

But then when I try to connect to my WLAN it just doesn't work, and then
when I do "view wireless networks" to try again, my WLAN has disapeered.

Trying to connect to one of the other two .... without WEP seems to work,
but nothing in terms of TCP/IP works. Trying again, same result, this WLAN
has also dissappeered, and then there is just one left .......

How should I get my WIALN connection to work using a Netgear WPN111 adepter
???? Please help - getting desperate ...

I have made sone - only some - additional progress. I have been able - two
times I think - to iniate WLAN connection "all the way" to the step where I
input the WEP key. And once - only one - it actually looked like a connect
.... but sorru to say that was overl optimistic.

So I an still struggling .... hard, cause my WLAN connection is an ABSOLUTE
NECESSITY of course.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
