How to Install Windows Vista Beta 2

Posted: 06-09-2006, 07:27 AM
My PC has four drives of 10GB each. Since vista requires 15GB of hard disk
space I plan to merge my E drive & F drive. Also, since I do not have a DVD
Rom Drive I plan to mount the ISO file on a virtual drive. After merging E &
F, I shall only have a E drive of 20GB; now in which drive should I allot the
space for the virtual drive; and how should I proceed with the installation?
I mean how should I install vista from within my current Windows XP
Professional; I want to keep xp & vista both.

Launch setup from within XP, that means the ISO would be on XP partition.

Do the various softwares already installed on XP need to be installed
separately for Vista?

Yes, if you install Vista on a new drive, you will have reinstall all your
existing software.
