how to make WMP to read foreign fonts

I was wonder how i can make WMP to read like Thai or Chinese fonts when the
playlist is showing on the right hand side. I'm getting weird characters. I
enable my PC to read Thai and Chinese fonts on regional options and keyboard
settings in control panel but to no avail. Thanks in advance for anyone's
help.
