how to remove dual boot

I recently crashed an OS and have reinstalled a new OS on
a seperate partition. I can no longer boot to the
original. On startup I am now given three options for
booting to XP, the old one which won't boot a repair of
the old one which won't boot, and the new one which will.
How do I remove the other options so it will just boot
directly to the usuable OS? (I want to keep my
unbootable partition for now because I can access it and
am not done retrieving files). Thanks Eric

Hi Eric,

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig
Then go to the Boot.ini Tab and click on Check All Boot Paths. If you
receive a warning about a duplicate path: Do you want to remove, choose
yes.

Or...

Right click the My Computer icon/Properties/Advanced/Startup and
Recovery/Settings/System Startup/Edit.
