Although upgrading is disabled if moving from RC1 to RC2. You need to
perform a clean install, which isnt a bad thing in any respect.

Colin used to be a really uncommon Scottish name. Why are there so many in
this forum? Colin

If upgrading was disabled for going from RC1 to RC2, then
why did nit work for me in both x86 and x64. Granted it
took over an hour to upgrade, but it did indeed upgrade.

I agree. while upgrading from XP to 5600, and from 5600 to 5728 didn't go
good for me at all, the upgrade from 5728 to RC2 (5744) went very well.
System seems to run faster, and I have had no problems. Delta Force: Black
Hawk Down runs better even!! Yes, it took about an hour or so, but it all
went very well.

Now, if I could only get the game port on my Audigy 2ZS to work, I'd have a
perfect device manager!!!
