HP 300n DVD only sees standard CDs

Posted: 10-04-2003, 03:01 AM
After months of working perfectly...my DVD+RW will not only recognize
standard data CDs and music CDs.

I figure if this were a failure on the drive's part it wouldn't work at all.

Does a DVD share the same lense for both formats?

Sometimes when I put a DVD in (movie or data) it just hangs forever.
Sometimes it pops right up and lists nothing.

Anyone offer some insight?

TIA!
