I have quite a problem...see my printer software driver
was fine when I was running Windows Me but now that I
have upgraded to XP professional that driver won't set up
my printer to scan. The print option works properly but
won't let me scan through the computer. I went to the hp
website and downloaded the driver for xp and I burnt it
to a CD-ROM but when I run the disk and try to install
the printer the screen comes up with a message saying
that there is already a file in the computer by that
particular name no matter what I name it. What should I
do? I don't want to purchase a new printer when this one
isn't even a year old that would make no sense what so
ever when this one worked perfectly before I installed
this new Windows program. I'm rather in a hurry to get a
response because I need this printer up and running ASAP
for business and school. I've run completely out of
ideas, please help if possible. It would be very much
appreciated.
