hp photosmart 7000 problems

Posted: 12-29-2003, 01:26 AM
I installed a HP photosmart 7660 on my Hp Pavilion. I
followed the directions exactly. But when you restart the
system or turn it off and back on it will hang at the HP
INVENT screen and not boot up. You must unplug the
computer from the outlet then plug it back in and turn
the computer back on to get it to work. If I unplug the
printer it will work fine and reboot. The printer prints
fine once it is plugged back in. I installed the same
printer on my self built computer and it works fine. I
then installed my Hp Deskjet 842C on the USB of the
Pavilion and it works fine. Anyone got any ideas on what
is wrong.

Thanks
robert
