HP Photosmart 7150 installation problem

During installation of my HP Photosmart 7150 printer, the "add new hardware
wizard" in Windows XP give the error message: Cannot install this Hardware.
The Handle Is Invalid. I've tried the CD drivers as well as downloading the
latest from HP's website. Is this a printer problem or a Windows problem?
How do I fix it?
