hp psc 1210 printer

i'm trying to install a hp psc 1210 printer on xp
pro..after software install i get a cannot install
hardware error, cant find system file..hp help says i
need to re-install the windows xp pro installer file
2.0..it must be corrupt.. where can i find this file and
does this make sence??
