HP PSC 2175 All-In-One Driver will not install

Is anyone having trouble installing the HP printer drivers on their computers? The software for the printer installs but when the computer goes to locate the driver, it does not locate it. I even received an updated version of the software from HP and it still does not see the driver. I recently upgraded my system to XP. The printer worked fine on Windows 98. I had a cheaper LexMark printer that installed just fine and identified the driver. It has to be something with comunication between XP and HP

Please help, I am desperate.
