Yes. It's working fine for me.. also Windows Live Mail, and Thunderbird.

Please post any error message here, in it's entirety

'yahoo' is not a valid server name and it looks like 'sbcglobal.net' isn't
either. You may need to ask your internet provider what the correct
names are, and while you are at it, you should probably ask them for
the full instructions for setting up a new email account that uses their
server. The instructions are probably available somewhere on their
web site.

Your server names are incorrect... try to contact whoever provides your
email account.
I can't figure out what they should be, due to the
sbcglobal/yahoo/prodigy/swbell mergers

The server names you are using are not correct. Who is your mail provider?
If it is AT&T/SBC Yahoo, the setup instructions are here:
