I can't find the option to put photos on to disc

I used to have the ability on my pc (windows xp) to put photos on to disc but
this function has disappeared, does anybody know why and how do I get it
back, no matter where i look or what i click the option to do this has simply
gone, How can I put my photos on to disc without this function.
Please help me as I have many family and friends photos that i want to put
on to disc.
Thankyou any help will be greatful.

the burner....Nero, Roxio, Sonic, etc...
