i can't installed vista on my computer need help please??

i have a 1.8 ghz and 1 gig of ram and a 32 mb video . i also have update the
bios of the computer.its a dell latitude D600...i have also run vista advisor
and says that i can run vista on this computer .now my question is i'm
having trouble installing vista...i first put the beta dvd that i bought
from microsoft. i put the product key then i do a clean installed....now
after i installed all the features ....it restart s one last time then it
freezes and shows lines

Vista may not have all the drivers for the proprietary hardware in your
laptop. You should not overwrite the original OS in this case but use a
second partition for Vista.
