I've had this problem, too, with programs such as Office2000 and OfficeXP -- I install it from my personal administrator account, wherein it works fine; but if I try to access Word, etc., from another user account (even if that user has administrative privileges), XP prompts me to insert the Office CD so that I can install the program. If I cancel out of the installation process, Word would load fine. I think your problem and mine are related, as they are a problem with installing programs over all user accounts. Any thoughts, anyone?? Thanks. ~Alessandro, aka ?WhyMe? | Guest

| I don't know about the games, but I've come up on the Office problem. The way we have worked around that in the office is to copy the office cd files onto the hard drive. We copy the "pfiles" directory along with, *.msi, *.cab files. I call the folder "Office setup files". Then when other profiles are setup you can direct the prompt to that folder. Not a great fix, but it's worked for us. "?WhyMe?" wrote: Quote:
