I don't understand this group!!

I know this is a 'community' with no support from MS, but why do they not
have a presence here? Surely they should be doing their best to solve the
many problems people are having with Vista prior to release.
Over the last few weeks, I have posted on several occasions about the
'expanding files' crash during install that many others have experienced, and
apart from someone suggesting that I remove a RAM module, and someone else
suggesting that I 'bug it out' I have had no help at all. Now, it's not just
me ovbiously, it seems that everyone posting problems seems to get very
little help from MS. Why is this?
I've tried clean installs, upgrades from Vista versions and XP, got rid of
my RAID setup, different builds of RC1, different burns (all at x1), but
still the exact same thing happens, i.e. Vista crashes at some point during
the 'expanding files' stage.
Very frustrating!
