| Over the past few weeks, I have had a problem with Windows Messenger signing in automatically. I only discovered the problem because a colleague tried to message me (thinking I was online because of the automatic signon) while my kid was surfing the web. I was asked why I was showing online, but I didn't respond to his message. This is not only annoying, but it also creates confusion. I have tried exploring the windows messenger options, but the darn thing still logs on every time. Who knows how I can stop this from happening? | Guest

| Go to tools, options, preferences, and take the check out of the box that says 'run this program when windows starts' Quote:
