I Give Up!!! How do I take off XP Pro install start?

Posted: 07-15-2003, 06:03 AM
I have given up on my PIII-500 and my BE6 mother board. I
have tried 15 times to install XP Pro. I have flashed the
latest, the next to latest and an older Bios to no avail.
I installed a new hard drive. I still get the blue screen
right at start up of installation that ends with 7B. Now
I bought a new computer with XP and want my kids to use
mine on my wireless network. Two challenges I have
created and would like help on:

1. XP Pro tries to install everytime I reboot.

2. I have lost my ability to soft reboot. I can only do
a hard reboot to restart or close my computer.

Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.

Thank you and have a GREAT DAY!
