I have identical laptops, same make/model/software suddenly

one of them cannot connect to the wireless router (which is encryped). I
type in the same password that is used on all my computers and it keeps
coming back saying that there is a problem, diagnose. I diagnose, yet it
comes back saying that microsoft cannot repair or, windows cannot connet to
my network, or that the security code typed in is incorrect, oh yes and that
maybe one of the adapters is not functioning correctly, so I went out to
device drivers and compared both the laptops. The one that is operational has
Netword Adapters, Atheros... and Realtek...(BUT) the non-connect laptop has
one additional ..Microsoft ISATAP Adapter #2 (yet it has a status of not
working properly) so I disabled it, rebooted computer and tried to connect
again, again I was asked for the passcode for the wireless connection, which
I put in and the same problems occured. So I went back out to enable the
Microsoft driver, yet it comes back still not working problerly. For one, I
don't understand why this driver is on the one computer yet not on the other
(operational) laptop, they are identical in make and model and software
installations. I didn't know if I should uninstall the 'extra' driver or
not' it is the odd one out, and the one not functioning. I have tried
various reboots, retyped passcode, deleted then readded the wireless network
yet the same thing keeps reoccuring. PLEASE can anyone help.
