| Ok I am usually pretty computer savvy but I can't figure this one out. I set up my daughter's computer and she was the administrator. I wanted to set parental controls so I added my as the administrator and switched her to standard user. When I got back on the computer it shows us both as standard users and no one as an admin. I want to fix the parental controls but it says windows needs permission to enter password and hit ok, but it wont let me enter a password and now I can't change or do anything because no matter what I do I get this pop up. I am so confused and am gettting no where. You have to have an admin account but both of ours says standar user. Help please! | Guest

If will not let you start up into Safe Mode using one of the methods in the tutorial quoted above, then you might try doing a Repair install to see if can create a new Administrator account for you. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88...all-vista.html Shawn -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* '*Vista Forums*' (http://www.vistax64.com/index.php?referrerid=2980) *Please post feedback to help others.* | Guest
