I Need Assistance Editing a Game Folder In Windows Vista Ultimate

Posted: 03-15-2008, 11:31 AM
I am a 44 year old gamer and have recently built a new core 2 based computer
with Windows Vista Ultimate. I am losing sound in a game called "Crysis" and
I received instructions for editing the file folder but am unable to make the
changes.

This is what I am trying to get accomplished. Any assistance would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When in the game and the problem occurs press the ~ key and this should open
the console, then type
Con_Restricted 0 //to enable console
s_SoundEnable 0 //to disable sound
s_SoundEnable 1 //to re-enable sound

pressing enter after each line, that should sort the sound issue.
