 RE: IE7+ Hard Freezes I had a similar problem, but it works if you open IE with add-ons disabled. For this reason, I believe it is an addon not working. You can open IE with addons disabled by going to start > all programs > accessoried > system tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ins) I also noticed that I only had this problem in the user account.
