Importing .mp2 file

I am importing a .mp2 movie into MM and it acts like it imports it, but when
I click on the clip it launches a screen of just the first still image of the
movie. If I try and play the clip from within MM it show the time moving
like it is playing, but I get no video. I am trying to add the movie to the
story board now and create the movie and seems like MM is just locking up.
Any suggestion why this might not work?

MPEG-2 files that don't work in MM2 should be converted first to AVI
files... see the Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page of my site.
