Incomplete Boot...

Posted: 10-16-2003, 08:03 AM
Hi everybody,

I got a WinXP pro and just recently I replaced my video
card and memory. Since then my system won't boot up the
first time you turn it on, windows wouldn't load
completely and then hang. I have to press reset to reboot
the system. And from then the boot menu appears as usual
saying that "windows did not boot completely the last
time" and that options are shown there, and then I just
choose normal boot. After this everythings ok and
operational and I wouldn't encounter the problem if I need
to do a reboot. If I shut down my system and turn it back
on, the same problem happens. What could be wrong? How am
I going to solve it? Thanks...!

remove and re-install the video and memory cards and be sure they are well
seated.some agp cards need a little extra pressure to get seated.
