| Hi, I have just received my Vista DVD directly from Microsoft. I have gone to install it and it asked me if I wanted to update from the internet, which I allowed it to do. It then asked me to enter in the Product Key which it then told me was incorrect! But I have double-checked my typing and it is exactly as printed on the sheet. Does anyone know what is going wrong? And does anyone know how to fix it? I can supply a scan of the sheet if anyone is interested. | Guest

| Hi, I had been following the instructions - Stupid of me I suppose. What I initially did was place the disc into the drive while running XP and tried to install it while still under XP. When I rebooted and installed from scratch the code was accepted. "pippin" wrote: Quote:

| The key works just the same whether you install from the XP desktop or by booting from the dvd. Likely there was a simple typo. "MikeAtFormwise" <mradford@orange.net> wrote in message news:2677D45F-1D59-49E0-BE0B-FCA494270B92@microsoft.com... Quote:
